Jack & Jill Tournament A Success!

The mood was a little damp when the first 1:00 tee time was approaching, the sky turned grey and rain starting to roll in. But despite the rain, the golfers, who traveled from as far away as St. Andrews Manitoba, were dressed up and ready to play! Luckily the rain stopped after the first few holes and golfers were able to enjoy the day with a fun game of Texas Scramble (Best Ball) where each golfer was to hit their ball from each best shot, so it wasn’t too surprising when everyone came in with amazing scores. Bighorn Bruisers in Invermere BC Pond Hockey

Once again, the Bighorn Bruisers charged onto the ice representing Bighorn Meadows Resort in the BC Pond Hockey Tournament on Lake Windermere in Invermere this past weekend. The event has grown from approximately 20 teams in 2012 to over 30 teams this year with 85% of registrants from out of town. The Bighorn Bruisers trampled their way into the semi finals in the 35+ Recreational Division but just missed out with a score of 18-15. A great time was had by all! Learn More…
