Golf Isn’t The Only Thing You Can Do in Radium!

Situated on the border of Kootenay National Park, only 15 km from Invermere, our luxurious hotel is ideally located for activities in the Columbia Valley. Not only are we surrounded on three sides by Radium Hot Springs’ prestigious Springs Golf Course, but we’re also nestled between the Purcell and Rocky Mountains, which are teeming with recreational opportunities.

Summer Activities:

  • Radium Hot Springs Golf: the Kootenay Rockies region of BC is, quite simply, a golf lover’s paradise. Many of Canada’s top ranked courses are located here. From Golden to Cranbrook, choose to tee off at 1 of 15 golf courses.

  • Beaches: in nearby Invermere, visit the sandy beaches of James Chabot Provincial Park on the north end of Windermere Lake. Also on the lake, visit the Kinsmen Beach and Park.

  • Fishing: fish the pristine mountain lakes and glacier fed creeks of the Columbia Valley. Paddlers can navigate the Columbia River on a scenic day trip.

  • Rafting: enjoy the rapids of Toby Creek and the fast running Kicking Horse River, or tempt the boisterous white water on the Kootenay River. Kootenay River Runners in Radium Hot Springs offers exhilarating whitewater rafting and canoeing trips.

  • Hiking & Mountain Biking: hikers & cyclists will find a variety of scenic mountain terrain to explore. There are several well marked trails in the Radium Hot Springs area to choose from.

  • All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs): with hundreds of trails for all riding levels, cruise over mountain trails with scenic views, pass cascading waterfalls, and fling mud during stream crossings.
  • Horseback Riding: ride the mountain trails on a friendly well-trained horse or mule and explore the Rocky Mountains’ beautiful scenery. Luxor Corrals is only a 10 minute drive north of Radium.

  • Sightseeing: the world-renowned Columbia River Wetlands are a vital habitat for an abundant wildlife population, including hundreds of bird species.

  • Hot Springs:end the perfect summer day with an under-the-stars soak in Radium’s warm, open-air, mineral-rich hot springs. You’ll be relaxed in no time!
