Radium Hot Springs, BC – April 9, 2013 – Luxury Resorts West Capitol Corp (LRW) today announced that they have acquired the assets of Glacier Lake Investment Corp. Most notably, Bighorn Meadows Resort on The Springs Golf Course in Radium Hot Springs, True Key Resorts as well as an Equity stake in True Key Hotels and Resorts.
Who is Luxury Resorts West
Luxury Resorts West is a 100% privately owned Western Canadian Company focused on Resort Construction, Development, Sales &Marketing, Management, and Financing. The company principals have a combined total of over 50 years’ experience in the Resort development industry and have built and sold in excess of $110 million in Resort Real estate in Canada over the last decade.
“We believe now is the time to aggressively pursue and develop Resort Real Estate in Western Canada” says Randy Trapp, President and CEO of LRW. “We see our greatest potential in Rocky Mountain properties as well as ocean front locations specifically on Vancouver Island.”

Jack & Jill Tournament A Success!

The mood was a little damp when the first 1:00 tee time was approaching, the sky turned grey and rain starting to roll in. But despite the rain, the golfers, who traveled from as far away as St. Andrews Manitoba, were dressed up and ready to play! Luckily the rain stopped after the first few holes and golfers were able to enjoy the day with a fun game of Texas Scramble (Best Ball) where each golfer was to hit their ball from each best shot, so it wasn’t too surprising when everyone came in with amazing scores.

The winners of the day were a group of “Youngies” from Calgary, Alberta with an impressive score of 2 under Par.

Bighorn Bruisers in Invermere BC Pond Hockey

Once again, the Bighorn Bruisers charged onto the ice representing Bighorn Meadows Resort in the BC Pond Hockey Tournament on Lake Windermere in Invermere this past weekend. The event has grown from approximately 20 teams in 2012 to over 30 teams this year with 85% of registrants from out of town. The Bighorn Bruisers trampled their way into the semi finals in the 35+ Recreational Division but just missed out with a score of 18-15. A great time was had by all!

Thank you to John Reed, organizer of the BC Pond Hockey series; the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce as well as the businesses supporting the event; and special thanks to the players on the Bighorn Bruisers, including one of our own, Sales Rep Kevin Antochow. Great job everyone!
